Some easy ways to get rid of bacne

When you are breaking out on your face or body, some spots really suck. But at least that flaw on your face can be easily covered juxtaposed to that pop up on your back. To save your skin, these ways that will completely remove the bacne and any other pesky body acne, once and for all.

1. Understanding what causes bacne

If you suffer from breakouts on the face, you are likely to suffer from blemishes on your back. Blocked pores on your back can also occur due to your hair products sliding down your back and clogging your pores, or maybe from not showering or drying your back with a cleansing wipe after a workout.

No worries, you can treat your bacne with the same products and ingredients you use for your face.

2. Use an acne fighting system

Make sure you keep your back skin clear by treating it in the same way you do with your face, by applying an acne-fighting system. Firstly, use a salicylic-based wash to fight bacteria that can cause pimples. Then, use it with an alpha and beta hydroxyl-acid that contains a gel which helps slough away pore-clogging dead skin cells. If you just want to treat some spots during a month, the kit has a treatment that you can use only on the trouble areas.

And if you are prone to more acne, this kit has those too. Try to use glycolic acid pads daily, the kit contains Max Complexion Correction Pads that has 4% of the ingredient to deeply and chemically clear the dead skin cells and help stimulate cellular turnover.

3. Suds up with a soap that clears acne

Whether you believe it or not but the hair products you use can cause back breakouts. Because they contain some ingredients that are only designed to cling to hair, but they may stick to your skin and clogging up your pores.

To get rid of these blemishes, first, wash and clean your hair, then use soap on your body to wash away any residue. You can even keep a towel over your back before you use any hair product to prevent future breakouts.

4. Soap up with a gentle cleanser

You use a body wash for acne but your skin cannot handle acne-fighting ingredients like salicylic acid, get a cleanser packed with fresh fruits extract to exfoliate and cleanse the skin.

5. Use a gentle wipe to keep bacteria away

To avoid the dry skin on your back, try using gentle, oil-free wipe to clear off bacteria before your workout. Then after you are done with the exercise and stuff, use medicated wipes to remove the amount of dirt, oil and bacteria from causing a blemish before you shower.

6. Reach for a medicated spray

One of the main problems with bacne is that it is hard to reach. Solution to this is, a formula you can spritz on. All thanks to the easy use of the mist that contains retinol and salicylic acid and you can spray it on from any direction.

If you prefer medicated wipes, try this out after you work out and you’ll feel much better.

Nail That Skinny Look with These 8 Best Kept Secrets of Slimming

Looking skinny demands rigorous exercise regimen as well as a clean, gluten-free diet. If you don’t have time for that right now, yet wish to look like a sculpted fashionista, then follow the below mentioned pointers. They will surely slim down your appearance in no time at all.

1. Ace up good posture

Standing erect easily tires you out when your body is bearing extra 10 pounds. So the first secret of mastering the skinny look is – standing straight with tummy in, upright back and perked-up shoulder blades. It may sound as military rule for the uninitiated, but a couple of rounds of practice will surely make your posture lean. Waist trainers and corsets can help you do achieve this.

2. Side panels increase the ‘illusion’ quotient

Scarlett O’Hara from ‘Gone with the Wind’ had a natural hour-glass figure. But for us mere mortals, side panels can do this trick.

Do keep note that navy blue panels as well as black panels create the illusion, that your body has achieved the perfect cinched waist in actuality.

3. Suck your tummy in- with corset

Sucking your tummy in is another hazardous process. But to lift up your hotness quotient, this fashion secret is quite inimitable. That’s why it’s all the more important to collect must-haves like corsets in different colors and designs for your closet.

Just make sure that you get the best fabric in town as the corset will stick to your body for the longest period of time, whenever you go out.

4. Invest on dark-colored bottom wear

From pitch-black pencil skirt to a pair of chocolate brown khaki pants- dark bottom wear defines your lower body part. If you are a denim aficionado, then go for boot-cut or straight denim pants. Don’t fall prey to the recent trend of embellished denims or the shredded ones. They can make your legs look huge.

5. Accentuate your height

Sometimes, even super models grimace on the thought of wearing heels for photo shoots or ramp walks. So you are not alone on the ship. But you know what? Wearing minimum 2-and-1/2 inches heels is mandatory to stretch out your legs. Also peep-toe heels look good on curvy body, as they never make you look stockier.

6. Never go for chokers

A chocker looks great with an off-shoulder gown or an androgynous suit look. But this is a complete no-no when you are short-on-height and have chubby face-and-neck. Instead of that, wear long necklace that touches your navel.

7. Spend money on bespoke clothes

The high-street fashion may come with great variety but it still lacks the ‘oomph’ factor when it comes to the ideal body measurement. If you have the means, then collect at least 4-5 personalized dresses for special occasions in your wardrobe- just for the sake of ideal fits.

8. Side-bangs are ‘in’

No one can defy the significant role hairstyle plays in trimming down your figure. Side-swept bangs form an eye-catchy fashion for your tresses that tone down the chubbiness. In the off chance you are getting it, make certain that the bangs shouldn’t be smaller in length than the midpoint of your nose.

Our West Coast Trip Disected

I’m so excited to finally share the photos from our recent trip to San Francisco and Napa. I tried to capture all that we experienced, but it seems I missed quite a lot. Isn’t that always the case?
We arrived in San Fran to frigid temps + foggy skies. It was lovely after all our humidity in Chicago but so weird to wear coats and scarves again! In fact, it was so chilly we certainly could have worn berets in homage. Of course will all our eating we had to walk. Some of my favorite stops included omnivore books and the amazing paxton gate’s curiosities for kids.

While we waited for our table we shared a bottle of wine on the sidewalk, shivering but sated. We all agreed that it felt very European. Our friends Nicole + JP (she of the awesome design womb) immediately took us under their gourmet wing driving us to our first stop, pizzeria delfina, for the most delicious pizza ever.

What a quirky find. We ate delicious meals at Flour + Water, Tartine + even Ike’s where BCL was introduced to the Fat Bastard sandwich and San Fran’s never-ending two hour lines. Was it worth it? Yes.

After saying goodbye we drove to Napa, specifically Yountville. We stayed at the bardessono, one of the most design savvy, eco-friendly hotels I’ve ever seen. I can’t tell you how many times I said, “I wish we could move to Napa and crush grapes.”

Our first order of business was to eat at the french laundry. How can I describe this eating experience? Maybe I’ll just say that it was all I’d imagined a little bit more. For those that followed my adventures on twitter you know I was especially in awe of their garden.

Our first order of business was to eat at the french laundry. How can I describe this eating experience? Maybe I’ll just say that it was all I’d imagined a little bit more. For those that followed my adventures on twitter you know I was especially in awe of their garden. I found out later that Thomas Keller just put it in as something to look at, but now they serve nearly everything grown there on the menu. Just a few ideas of what we ate: Cauliflower panna cotta with white sturgeon caviar, Santa rosa plums with honey mascarpone and vanilla bean, New Bedford sea scallops with garden squash, garlic chips and powerade, and a various other delicious treats.
Following the French Laundry we had a day of tasting throughout Napa. Some of our favorite stops: kuleto winery for their views (vast and magical),schramsberg for their history and the multitude of sparkling wines, frank family vineyards for their Cabernet, and rutherford for their hilltop picnic spot.

It was such a wonderful trip, I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Latest Trend: Hot Pink

I’m going to be honest here. These past few months I’ve been skeptical of the neon trend, remembering days long ago when my fluorescent green shorts mixed with yellow and pink gummy bracelets = tragic.

However, as of today (when I accompanied my neighbor, the Waist Trainer Girl, on an impromptu shopping trip) I became 100%, entirely sold on the hue.

She wore the perfect pink neon shoes.

This may have had to do with a certain Furla wallet, or the sordid affair I’m having with her shoes (top shot), but it all became most clear when I laid eyes on this table and room.

I think we have this  same table in orange, which makes me super jealous.

After having a long discussion with her, We both agreed about that the trend change too fast and right now wearing neon colours are quite trending so, I thought to share this article with you all so that you can be aware about the latest trends.

Shopping For Cherry Blossom Festival

The National Cherry Blossom Festival is a spring celebration festival celebrated in Washington, D.C., commemorating the March 27, 1912, gift of Japanese cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki to the city of Washington.
