I’m considering a little re-vamp of my office/guest suite and I’m coveting a “tulip-inspired” chair for the corner nook. There’s just something to be said for pedestal legs and the shape that they create.
These three versions are standouts with their neutral colors and unique textures (metal, quilting and wood), especially the original (bottom left), designed by Eero Saarinen, a Cranbrook graduate and design genius.
Top: Flow arm chair / Jean Marie Massaud for MDF Italia @ aram .
Bottom Right: Platner arm chair / Warren Platner @ design within reach.
Bottom left: Tulip arm chair / Eero Saarinen, produced by Knoll @ hive modern.
